I chose the Austin Sweet Tea as my cocktail and it definitely had a little hit to it. My cocktail and my fiance's roasted street corn was the only thing that didn't lack flavor. The food looked delicious but that's it because it certainly did not taste delicious.
The salt content was fine but the seasoning was just barely there. The rice was bland, the beans were bland, even the salsa was a miss. Unfortunately I felt all three of the meats were dry, overcooked, and bland. The reason I chose that platter was because I felt like getting a little bit of everything and I figured a dish with beef, chicken and fish definitely had that covered.
I decided to get the Build your Borracho Platter with the carne asada entree, the drunken fish taco a la plancha, and the green mole chicken enchilada with rice and beans and corn tortillas and I must say that EVERYTHING on my plate was lacking flavor, except the sour cream. I told my fiance that if I was Guy Fieri and I came in to eat at my restaurant, I would be pist because this is a bad representation of his cooking. One word to describe this dine in experience and that is DISAPPOINTING! Considering that the food is supposed to represent one of America's if not the World's top chefs, this food was lacking.
